On the top of Vindhyagiri, standing handsomely at 58 ft, the statue of Jain Saint Gomteswara is the tallest monolith of India. This magnificent piece of art was carved out of a giant rock in 981 AD.

The Indian Army is not just one of the fiercest in the world but also one of the most creative. The 'Khardungla Frog' is the best example of that. It may not be angelo's 'statue of david' but when you are riding in such a horrid terrain to suddenly being greeted by a ginormous yellow 'frog' is surreal...but nice!
